Duncan: Exporting the Israeli Surveillance State
Jane Duncan is Professor of Digital Society, University of Glasgow, and a Visiting Professor, University of Johannesburg. She is author of The Rise of the Securocrats (2014), Protest Nation (2016), Stopping the Spies (2018) and National Security Surveillance in Southern Africa (2022). Mahmoudi: Hi-Tech Powered Genocide in Gaza
Matt Mahmoudi is Researcher & Advisor on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights, Amnesty International. He is an Affiliated Lecturer in Sociology, University of Cambridge, lead author of Automated Apartheid (2023), and author of Migrants in the Digital Periphery (2025).
